My mom and I participated in a course run by UC Berkeley on the theme “The Science and Art of Happiness”. Throughout the course, we had different break out sessions to chat with other course members about our own experience from everyday life and insight into happiness. We also had several outings to the Tsz Shan Monestry — a place of rare rural calm within the concrete jungle of Hong Kong. As part of the graduation homework for the course, we had to create a reflection summing up what we’ve gained from the course. What I have attached here is my personal gratitude journal — with a creative little twist - so thought I’d share a few tips to lighten up your day!

Tsz Shan Monestry— a large Buddhist temple located in Tung Tsz, Tai Po District, Hong Kong. Nestled against the Pat Sin Leng (八仙嶺) mountain range overlooking Plover Cove Reservoir, the Monastery spans around 500,000 square feet.

"Don't worry, be happy!"
